Yoga is a form of physical and mental training concerned with bringing the body, mind, and emotions into harmony. It is an ancient discipline, believed to have been developed by sages in the Indian subcontinent over 5,000 years ago. Today it is practised by tens of millions of people around the world as a way to keep fit and relieve stress.

These fun and accessible classes incorporate movement, breathwork and guided relaxation. You can expect playful sequences and lots of feel-good stretches to ease tension and create space in the shoulders, spine and hips. All of my classes are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis.

I offer two formats of corporate yoga class: Desk Yoga and Mat Yoga. My desk-based classes are ideal for smaller spaces and timeframes, while my mat-based classes provide a more complete and vigorous workout.

Mat Yoga involves a combination of standing, seated, kneeling and reclined exercises. I suggest wearing loose or stretchy clothes that allow for easy movement.

These classes tend to run longer than my desk-based ones, to allow ample time to warm up and for that blissful Savasana (relaxation pose!) at the end. I recommend this format for people who are looking to become more strong and bendy.

Frequently Asked Questions

VIRTUAL CLASSES

How Many People Can Join? Our meeting rooms can hold up to 300 participants.

Can You Offer Recordings? Yes! I live-stream our virtual classes to create a communal experience for the attendees, however, our sessions can also be recorded by me upon request for an additional fee. Please note that we can only offer recordings for classes and workshops hosted by us on Zoom.

What Equipment Do We Need? My desk-based classes require no equipment and can even be practised in regular clothes, allowing them to blend seamlessly into your colleagues’ workday. My mat-based classes require mats and nothing else. Those practising remotely at home do not strictly need a mat if practising on a rug or carpeted floor.

Are You Insured? Yes, I am fully accredited by industry-leading credentialing bodies, and carry liability insurance for both virtual and on-site classes.

ON-SITE CLASSES

How Much Space Do We Need? For mat-based classes, you will ideally need about 1.5m x 2.2m of space per person. If you are limited on space, I recommend my desk-based classes, which involve a combination of seated and standing poses, and can be easily practised at one’s desk or a conference room table. I can also host private group sessions at an indoor or outdoor venue near your office, for the full ‘studio’ experience. To find out more, please get in touch.

Can We Livestream the Classes? Classes at your office can be live-streamed and recorded to benefit those working from home or other offices. Please get in touch to find out more.

What Equipment Do We Need? My mat-based classes require mats and nothing else. If you commit to a block of classes, I can provide up to 12 mats free of charge for your office, provided you have somewhere to store them. If you’re interested in purchasing a set I can also recommend you some options for your budget. My desk-based classes require no equipment and can even be practised in regular clothes, allowing them to blend seamlessly into your colleagues’ workday.

Are You Insured? Yes, I am fully accredited by industry-leading credentialing bodies, and carry liability insurance for both virtual and on-site classes.
